This hotel was AWESOME! The service was great, the room was even better. Such a lovely room, with pretty decorations, a huge flat screen TV, and the bed was the best with a firm mattress, 500 thread count linens, and lots of fluffy king size pillows. We had a great night sleep. The room was very quiet even though we had a corner street view and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE that is seeking comfort, relaxation with a friendly staff that meets every need.

We just stayed at the Valencia for my birthday weekend! This hotel will not say no! Their service was absolutely perfect! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect for my birthday! Upon arrival they had birthday cake waiting in our room and also sent up a complimentary bottle of wine. They gave us a great room with a great view! They gave us bottled water each time we went out in the heat to wait on our valeted vehicle.....WE WILL MOST DEFINETLY BE BACK SOON!

I stayed at the Hotel Valencia for a business conference. The location was terrific, the
River Walk was just around the corner. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Internet access
was fast & there was plenty of working room. We had the conference catered by the
hotel. The food was fabulous & the staff was very attentive to our needs. I really enjoyed
staying at the hotel, and would look to return again.

" How much fun is this going to be. It is my birthday and I have to attend a 3 day business
conference" Boy was I wrong! This hotel was a happening place but also had a peaceful zen
feel. Waterfalls and candles everywhere. Top rated restaurant and chic
nightclub.Beautifully modern decorated rooms with all the comforts of home. And the staff
was beyond helpful. My birthday was even remembered by them. I arrived to my room after
a long confernence to a surprise of wine, cake and flowers all courtesy of the hotel. Lifted
my spirits immediatley.I cannot find the words to describe how much fun I had at this hotel
but I will be back asap for a girls weekend...

My first 3 nights in San Antonio were spent at the Marriott, but my last two were here. What a difference! The cool, modern ambiance combined with the friendly, attentive service make Hotel Valencia one of my favorite hotels ever. You're greeted by a beautiful water feature as you enter the lobby. This sets a serene and sophisticated tone that the hotel maintains throughout. My floor, the 3rd ,featured an interior courtyard with comfortable seating in a lush, quiet environment. It felt like a fine resort. The rooms were well appointed, quality coffee service, a huge TV, good bathroom lighting, pleasant bedroom lighting, and a nice hygiene products. I found the bed particularly comfortable and appreciated the variety of pillow types provided. The room decor reminded me of the W I stayed at in Manhattan, but the prices were so much better! I paid around $160/night for what I think was one of the nicest hotels I've ever had.

The location appealed to me as well. Directly on the Riverwalk, Valencia is walking distance from tourist destinations but not overrun by tourists. If you don't care to venture out, the restaurant downstairs offers a great breakfast buffet for about $12 (including excellent Italian coffee, various eggs, meats, fruits, french toast, and cold items). And the adjacent restaurant, Acenar, has a fun bar and great dining area as well. I enjoyed my dinner there more than anywhere else I ate in San Antonio.

Should you find yourself in San Antone in need of a place to rest your head and refresh your spirit, I recommend you do so here. You won't be disappointed.
